Abstract

Mangrove cover loss between 1995-2014 map shows the spatial extent of mangrove lost over a fourteen yer period. The red color shows the extent of mangrove cover in Pate Kiunga in 1995 and 2014 (green color) respectively. A basic overlay analysis depicts a mangrove loss in red. Reversing the overlay (overlaying the 1995 layer over 2014 layer) will depict areas that gained mangrove (in green) over the 14 year period.
